Enjoy the great summer concerts on offer at Prospect Park, or take a pleasant walk through the park to reach Park Slope, Grand Army Plaza and the beautiful Brooklyn Library, or to discover nearby landmark areas such as Ditmas Park and Prospect Heights. Prospect Park is particularly well-suited for families with children - with playgrounds, the Brooklyn Zoo, the Carousel and the new Lakeside skating area and childrens water park. The subway provides quick and easy access to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn (Parkside or Prospect Park stops of the B/Q trains, Winthrop stop of the 2/5 trains).
